Job Description/Duties
- Provide individual therapy on a weekly basis to clients on caseload.
- Provide crisis and risk assessment services as needed.
- Act as role model for practicum students and support as needed.
- Facilitate/develop primary groups, experiential groups, art-therapy groups, and educational groups as asked.
- Maintain consistent communication with Primary Counselors regarding client progress and/or issues that may arise during groups.
- Conduct diagnostic intake interviews with new clients as needed.
- Record notes on client’s participation and progress.
- Continue to upgrade skills via educational media.
- Provide services on a limited basis to client’s families and/or significant others as needed.
- Maintain professional relationship with clients while following a strict code of ethics.
Qualifications
- Must have a master’s degree in psychology or related field.
- Must be a licensure candidate receiving the appropriate supervision towards licensure.
- Must document competence in screening for and working with clients with mental health problems, through education, training, and experience.
- Maintain compliance with the rules adopted under MN Statutes, chapter 245G.

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position, working Monday - Friday.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year DOQ.
